Drop-in & Open Gym

Students may drop into any series with instructor approval. The cost for a drop-in is $30, payment is required prior to the start of class. Students may also rent a point for open gym use during any other class time, with instructor approval. The cost for renting a point is $20 per hour or $30 per 1.5 hours. Students may opt to bring their own apparatus but is not required. Space is not guaranteed. We recommend contacting your instructor prior to your class to check the availability of the space & apparatuses if you are using Celeste equipment. Instruction will not be given for students renting a point. Students renting a point must provide a video showing proficiency in the apparatus of choice to be approved.

Open gym is designed to increase your aerial profiencey by conditioning or reviewing sequences taught in class. We asked that all students limit their practices to sequence taught by an instructor. Teaching yourself from a video is not allowed.

24 hour notice is required to cancel your open gym and drop-in spots so other students can enjoy all we have to offer

Group Classes

Adult students registering for classes at higher skill levels must have prior approval from Celeste Aerial Arts before signing up for classes. Returning students receive level recommendations from their coaches prior to registration. Students who are new to Celeste Aerial Arts but not new to circus and who wish to enroll in a class above beginner level must first schedule an evaluation by contacting celesteaerialarts@gmail.com

If a student registers for a class above the beginner level without explicit approval from Celeste Aerial Arts, and Celeste Aerial Arts determines that they do not meet the pre-reqs for that class, the class registration will be cancelled without refund.

Missed Class/Make-Up Policy

Students currently enrolled in a series class are allowed one make-up class per series enrolled in. Missed classes must be made up in the current series. Contact your instructor at least 24 prior to allow other students to make-up in your class slot & to receive a list of available classes. Space is not guaranteed & make-up spots are awarded on a first come first serve basis.

*** Make-ups are not granted to no-call, no-shows, no exceptions

Cancellation Policy

Series
Students who wish to drop out of an entire session after they have registered, but 7 days before the start of the session, will be refunded 50% as an account credit or cash refund. After the week prior to the start of the session, no refunds will be given. Exceptions are made only for cases of injury or extraordinary circumstances, and only when a student contacts us promptly via email CelesteAerialArts@gmail.com to request a refund. All exceptions are at the discretion of Celeste Aerial Arts.

Private Lesson & Drop-ins
Cancellations for private lessons, drop-ins and open gym reservations must be made at least 24 hours prior. If a student cancels with at least 24 hours' notice, they will receive an account credit or cash refund. Credits can be used toward any future purchase, and do not expire. There are no refunds nor credits for cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice

2 person lessons: There are no exceptions regardless of any reason. This is because it is unfair to the other student who would have to foot the entire bill

1 or 3+ person lessons: Exceptions can be made if there is an emergency. This is at the discretion of the studio.

Inclement Weather

Classes may be cancelled due to severe weather conditions. In the event that your class is cancelled, you will be contacted by your instructor prior to the class time & either a make-up class will be scheduled or students may opt to use their series make-up in another class. (See: missed class/make-up policy)

Clothing

Comfortable workout clothing that is not excessively baggy and that covers the torso, armpits & back of the knees is recommended. Absolutely no zippers, velcro, jewelry or metal of any kind as these can damage the equipment. Prepare to remove all jewelry, tape over any body piercings, and put long hair up in a bun. Long fingernails should be trimmed. Tape over any cuts or abrasions, even if they seemed closed, to prevent bleeding on the equipment.

Photo/Video Policy

We encourage students to take photos & videos of themselves. However, students & guests may not take photos/videos of instructors or other students without explicit permission from those who would be filmed/photographed. The process of filming/photographing must not interfere with the safety/pace of the class.
